- I write (whenever I can). I am single parent to two amazing kids (one of whom has Down syndrome). Right now, we're doing our best to get through a really rough time, with a lot of help from our family and friends.
I teach amazing, creative students at the fabulous Fashion Institute of Technology. And I absolutely love NYC!
I've published three poetry collections: Fine Motor (Sow's Ear Review Press, 2008) and Saint Nobody (Red Hen Press, 2009), and two chapbooks co-authored with Denise Duhamel: ABBA: The Poems(Coconut Books, 2010). and Enjoy Hot or Iced: Poems in Conversation and a Conversation (Slapering Hol Press, 2011).
Work in progress: a prose memoir, Little Star, about parenting a child with Down syndrome.
I am poetry editor of the literary webzine Ducts.
